The Meeting of Senate of Warsaw University of Technology (WUT)
On February 20th, 2013 the President of Polish Rectors Foundation, Prof Jerzy Woźnicki, at the request of from HM Rector of Warsaw University of Technology, participated in Assembly Meeting of WUT Senate. The President of PRF presented the report from the activity of Polish Rectors Foundation in its first decade.
This document also includes achievements of Institute of Knowledge Society, which was formed by Polish Rectors Foundation and Consortium of Non-Public HEIs. The members of WUT Senate could read also the interview with the President of Polish Rectors Foundation and the Director of Institute of Knowledge Society in the same person, which was published in the newspaper Warsaw University of Technology Monthly ("Miesięcznik Politechniki Warszawskiej"), number 2 (February 2013) entitled "Independence and achievements built prestige". This article presented circumstances of forming PRF-IKS, its achievements and also plans for the nearest future. After the presentation of Prof Jerzy Woźnicki the Senate adopted a position statement on Polish Rectors Foundation and highly appreciated the way it acts, as a think-tank, by supporting the growth of higher education, science and innovation.
